Pick the make first — the model list narrows to that make. Every picker has a type-to-filter box.

Easy mode keeps the dropdowns honest: pick a make and the model and year narrow to real combinations — choose a model to limit the years, or a year to limit the models. And once a guess earns the “right region” hint, the make list narrows to that region. Hard mode lets you guess any year for any model. You can switch modes until you submit your first guess.

Lotus's second Elite and first four seater shared nothing with the 1950s original but the name: a fiberglass wedge shooting brake with four seats and a near-vertical glass hatch, it launched Colin Chapman's push upmarket in 1974 as the first Lotus road car built around the company's own 16-valve 907 engine.
